progress and growing

April 22nd, 2009 by wozog

We all need that extra push every once in a while. I am currently trying to learn about computer programming. I have never been very tech savvy. When i was a student in college, i had no desire to learn coding. I actually thought that programming was for nerds with glasses. It wasn’t anything that i was interested in. But now, i am a total geek. I see so much potential in the web. I can see the future now. I feel like i need to take advantage of this new gold rush. That is why i bought my iphone. That is why i bought the new iphone 3g. And that is exactly why i will buy the next iphone when it comes out in the future. I even bought a macbook because i wanted to learn this stuff. I figure that it is a small investment for my future. I see the future heading towards the mobile web. There were a lot of billionaires that came out of the internet boom. The next boom will happen with the mobile web. I want to be a part of that. I do not see myself as a web billionaire. But, maybe i can make a few million dollars if i am lucky.

paper furniture

April 11th, 2009 by wozog

When i first started to do some research on Frank Gehry, i learned about his cardboard chair. I looked at the thing and wasn’t very impressed. But, i really liked the idea of his cardboard pieces. I thought that it looked like something a bunch of drunk or stone college kids would make. Maybe he was high when he made it. Regardless, he made it big because of that chair. He branded himself by thinking outside the box. I think that we can all learn from his paper furniture. We can all learn to think a little bit differently.

I have been noticing a lot of different kinds of paper furniture that are coming out into the market. I even bought a few file cabinets that were made out of paper. I have a few storage crates that were made out of paper as well. My wife is creating her own line of paper furniture. She created a lot of really cool designs out of paper. I think that i will invest in her future. I looked into getting some hard and dense paper for her to play with.

the corporate monopoly

April 2nd, 2009 by wozog

The most popular board game in America is something that big corporation practices on a regular basis. I remember watch the Microsoft anti trust case a few years ago. I was amazed at how other companies remained untouched. Microsoft was not the only monopoly in the game. I honestly think that Google is another monopoly. Apple is another monopoly. Adobe is another company that needs to break down into sections. The thing that kills me is the world com mci case. How can the telecom industry continue to operate like a monopoly. Let us look at the new At and T. I used to have my cell phone hooked up with pacific bell. This company then got bought out by cingular. Then, cingular got bought out by at and t. So, the whole breakdown of this industry made a circle back to at and t. Even if you dismantle world com, you will find another monopoly to take its place. This is unfair for small businesses. It is unfair because small businesses can not even play the game. They do not have enough funds to even get started. This country was built on small business. If we let all of the big companies take over, we will lose our economic strength.

real estate investing group

March 31st, 2009 by wozog

I have a lot of experience in the real estate industry. I have been working in this sector for close to a decade. I have networked with a lot of other real estate developers during my ten years in the business. The business is slow right now, but this is actually a great time to invest. The prices are really low right now. The interest rate is at historic low levels. If you have money to invest, you really should think about real estate investments. If you would like to learn about a certain area, you should do some research about that area. If you are looking for a real estate professional in the Boston area, you need to visit the web site over at bloggernoob dot com. This web site is the home of the bloggernoob Real Estate Group. They are really experienced in the area. They have been helping clients manage their investments for a long time. They have a great reputation in the industry. The Boston Real Estate is filled with great investment opportunities. Real Estate in Boston has a lot of potential because it is a historic area. I believe that key markets will always yield profits. As long as you look at the long term plan, your investments will show you some profits. The short term investment game is a bit different. If you would like to learn more, visit bloggernoob dot com.

business breakdowns

March 31st, 2009 by wozog

I love the business for sale section in inc magazine. I am a regular subscriber to this business magazine. I have been reading it for close to 4 years. I find the articles to be entertaining and insightful. I love looking over the business for sale section because it breaks downs all of the figures of the business. This helps me learn about new industries. It provides me a profile of how these businesses are started. I also can use them as a comparable for other businesses. I was looking over a sawmill that was listed for close to a million dollars. I was surprised at the price of the business. I thought that these types of businesses would require a lot of capital to start up. It turns out that it doesn’t. I have a friend who started his own paper mill in China. I didn’t ask how much he started the business with. But, because of this article, i think that i know how much he started the business with. I think that the business was started with about 300 thousand dollars. That is a reasonable estimate to consider. I think that most businesses require over 200 thousand dollars to start. Online businesses are the only exception.

the different department stores

March 24th, 2009 by wozog

What is the difference between macys and nordstroms? I was asked this question by a friend who was visiting from over seas. I think that the question is obvious. Why do we have so many kinds of department stores. I remember when I was a little kid. I used to shop at may company. There was also the Robinsons department store. I think that they merge to form Robinsons may. I am not even sure if this department store chain still exist. It seems like big companies always go out of business. I think that these big companies are set up with a lot of debt. I think that the whole fashion world is filled with hype. If you think about it, everything at the department store is junk. We are paying too much money for things that do not cost that much to produce. I think that people pay too much attention to brands. When it comes to quality, big brands do not delivery. They only create the illusion of quality. So the answer to the above question is hype. Macys is a tad bit lower then nordstroms. The brand is a bit more ghetto. Both sell the same things. Both are big companies. One just has stuff that are more expensive.

adobe creative suite 4 is disappointing

March 24th, 2009 by wozog

The new adobe suites were disappointing. It seems like there is an upgrade every year with the major software companies. If you are not familiar with the adobe creative suites, you probably do not work that much on your computer. If you work a lot of hours on your computer, then you know exactly what I am talking about. Adobe’s software is the industry standard. Dreamweaver is used by millions of web professionals. Flash is used by a lot of the multi media professionals. Photoshop is on virtually every one’s computer. I think that these software options are important to learn. I spent a lot of money on the whole package a couple of years ago. Right when I bought the software programs, they release a newer version. I was really upset at first, but now that I think about it, it is all a part of the game. You don’t really need to do an upgrade. The tools that you have in front of you are fine. You probably will not even get to learn all of the new features in time. I think that you should always skip an upgrade. If you have cs3, wait until they come out with cs5 or cs6 until you upgrade. This will save you a lot of money and stress. You do not want to have to constantly learn the same program over and over again.

Pinkberry idea

March 19th, 2009 by wozog

Pinkberry was a big hit in America. I can’t believe how fast it grew. Now she is even in American Express business card ad in T.V. damn.

This pinkberry idea was originally from korean yogurt shop called redmango.

Maybe a lot of american people don’t know about it, but all the korean people know.

Redmango was around korea few years ago, of course it got popular. i am not big fan of yogurt ice cream but i also went to redmango several times in korea.

Damn….i wish i was thinking about it when i had a redmango yogurt in my mouth. then i am millionaire now..

I didn’t really think it will be so popular in america.

I was thinking about opening gelato shop in L.A….around same time the pinkberry opened.

It wouldn’t be like pinkberry? maybe not….. a lot of people already know about gelato…

No…..a lot of people also know about yogurt ice cream….

Then why pinkberry is so popular…

I guess it is same as starbucks…. people know about coffee so long…..but the starbucks just add a lot of stuff in coffee and make it fancier than mcdonalds or dunkin donuts.
