I have a wife who is slaving over the kitchen right now. I helped her for a few hours but the kitchen became way too crowded. She told me to just go out and do some blogging instead. Today, we are having an open house of sorts. We invited a lot of out friends over to out new house. We spent the past few days cleaning it up and decorating it for this party. They are bringing some house warming gifts and i was thinking about the cost versus benefit. I know that it is good to have friends over, but i noticed that there are people in our group that never invite people over. It is probably because it is a big hassle. I wouldn’t want to invite a large group of people into my house. It is way too much work to prepare and clean up. I do not even want to go into detail about post party clean up detail. Anyway, my wife is getting some nice gifts. She is getting a new coffee maker and a food scale. I calculated how much these things cost and i also calculated how much money i have spend to prepare the party. I have spend more then double the cost of the merchandise. It would be easier for me to just buy these things for her instead of doing a party.

There are a lot of designers that work from home. It may not be their main job, but they add income by doing a lot of design work. I have been studying up on wordpress theme design for the past few months. I’ve bought books and videos that teach you how to break down the php and css pages. I know have a good understanding of how to theme a blog. I think that the best way to look at a design is by looking at other designs. You can get some really good ideas by studying other peoples designs.

I was involved in a thread that was talking about relationships in some web forum. I started the thread because i wanted to know how certain people felt about certain situations. I have always been interested in how people react to other people. I got into an argument of sorts with one of the members of that forum. It wasn’t anything mean, but we clearly had a big difference of opinion. I didn’t think much about that thread and i stopped talking about it on that web site, but today i got an email. I forget about that thread and i don’t even know what people have been posting on it for the past few days. But, i got an email from the guy i was kinda arguing with. It turns out that the guy is actually pretty cool. I shot a few emails back and forth to him and we got into a really great conversation. I wanted to share with you guys this experience that i had to show you that you can use the internet to really connect with other people.

I have a really close family. We usually confide in each other for a lot of different things. We help each other out with money and support each new venture we do together. The problem with working with family is that money can commingle. When you start mixing in money, it can cause a lot of problems. Even though you are family, there should be some sort of separation in regards to business. Having it just be about the family money is not healthy for the business relationship. Money and business should be separate from regular stuff. When you have a really close family, you can sometimes create double the stress for yourself. You tend to take on and assume the stress and concerns of your family member. This makes it hard to resolve any type of problem. There should be a person that is of sound mind who is trying to help out the stressed out member of the family. But, when all of the members of the family start stressing, a solution is hard to come by. Learn to balance out your life even if you are close with your family.

Guitar hero is the game that you can play on any new game console. It is a musical game that mixes in beats and sound. You get to pretend that you are a rock star. You get to pretend that you are having a jam session with some of your buddies. I think that this game is brilliant. The idea is so good and simple. I remember back in the 80s, i would look at these small plastic guitars and think, that is pretty cool. After the years went by, i would still see these guitar toys. They were not as cool after some years have passed. But, these game plastic guitars are now cool again. That is because the guys at guitar hero have created a great game. This type of beat game isn’t anything new either. It just goes to show you that you do not have to be original to be the best. Just mix in the existing games and or technology and create something fun. You do that and you have a hit on your hands.

I recently bought the movie marker 2009 guide mag over at barnes and noble. I was looking through it and found it to be very interesting. I have always been a big time movie buff. I wanted to see how people think about small movies. I wanted to read about the struggles and triumphs that these people with dreams of becoming a movie maker dealt with. The magazine got me to start thinking about my own personal dreams. I think that my dream is to become a feature length movie maker. I want to be able to write and direct my own movie one day. I know that this dream is shared by millions of other people, but i think that making an indie film is not that unrealistic. The internet is one of the reasons why i think it’s possible. Before the internet was born, people could only offer movies via major outlets. Or, people had to sell dvd discs randomly to people. Making a copy of your own movie was still very expensive. But now, cameras and equipment is cheap. You can buy editing software that is good and cheap as well. My dream of making a movie is not real. The only problem is getting people to watch it. But, the internet is a great place for that as well.

I was reading an article in the newspaper about how damaging water bottles are to the environment. I also read about how costco’s best selling item is their kirkland bottle water. We like to live lives that are convenient. We do not like to think about the energy crisis or the food shortage. Because we are so comfortable, we forget that there are people on this planet that do not have the most basic of necessities. We forget that there are people who are starving in the world. We forget that some people do not have medicines and clean drinking water. We need to wise up and care about these things. To start off, we need to stop wasting. We need to recycle and not be so careless about the things we buy.

Buying bottled water is find once in a while. But, if you constantly buy these plastic bottles, then we are speeding up the trash bins of our planet. We need to be more thoughtful and green. We should recycle and we should not be so wasteful. Think about your children and your children’s children.

I believe that our society as a whole is deteriorating because of stuff like reality tv. First of all, reality tv is a terrible representation of reality. I think that drama presents a better portrait of reality. I think that consumers as a whole has been fed with way too much gossip. We do not have the energy to actually go out and do the things that we see in reality tv. We are too lazy to go out and meet people who are in reality tv. We just want to sit on our fat asses and watch these idiots on tv. It doesn’t require any brain cells and it is a guilty pleasure.

I think that most people are idiots. We have been trained and brain washed into being like robots. We are thought with our religions and in school to just follow a certain path. We are not creative and we are not that smart. There used to be a point in time when America was considered the best. But, that is a thing of the past.

The new apartment that i am moving into doesn’t allow pets of any kind. There are some places that are cat friendly. This means that only cats are allowed in the building. It makes sense that a building would be biased to only one type of pet. If you had dogs and cats living together, it would be total madness. I wanted to get a new puppy before the big move. But, i will have to wait at least another year until i get a new puppy. I think that i will move into a building that allows dogs in the units. I want to move into a dog apartment.

If you want to be a pet owner, you have to take a lot of things into account. If you have a job that requires you to go on a lot of business trips, owning a dog or cat is out of the questions. It will cost you a lot of money to put your dog or cat in a doggy hotel. You can’t go on long vacations either.

Parents have a way of making you feel like a kid even when you become an adult. Also, as you grow older, your responsibilities regarding your parents grows. It used to be that your parents took care of you. But as they get older, you need to start taking care of them. You have to be the middle man for their in fighting. You have to take care of them when they get older. You need to make sure that they are eating healthy and cared for when they get older.

Right now, i just got a call from my mother. Apparently, she had a fight with my dad. They are not speaking to each other so i have to play phone tag with both of them. It is something that is draining on my body and soul. I just want to pass out and sleep off the stress. Money stresses can be a bit pain, but i think family problems are worse.
