Iphone myphone

August 25th, 2008 by wozog

I recently got an iphone. My friends have all been raving about it, so i made the jump. The new 3g iphone isn’t that expensive. I got it for 199 dollars and i have to admit that i love this phone. The 3g network is having some problems so i get some of my calls dropped from time to time. I have faith in this phone. I don’t want to get a refund because i know that the next firmware update will solve this issue.

The only thing that sucks is that i already have 3 different ipods. These ipods are all useless now. My iphone killed my ipod. Just like video killed the radio. I also set up a blog at iphonemyphone.org. But i wonder why i did. If i couldn’t get the dot com, i don’t know why i bothered with the dot org. Funny.

Money problems

August 25th, 2008 by wozog

I don’t make that much money online. I have a few blogging friends and family who do, but i still haven’t figured out a way to do so. I have recently been thinking about how important money is. People say that money is the root of all evil. People say that money doesn’t buy happiness. But, i say that money makes life a lot easier. People who have money and problems, wouldn’t trade places with a person who is poor and problem less. When you don’t have money, you get stressed cause the bills start pilling up. You start digging yourself in a big hole and you can’t do anything to stop it. Being an employee for a company and getting a fixed salary will not do much when you are having money problems. That’s why i want to set up my own business.

At least i will be able to take charge of my money. At least there is some potential for riches with a business. With a regular 9 to 5 job, you got nothing. You don’t even have job security.

preinstalled computer programs

August 22nd, 2008 by wozog

I just bought two new computers. I got myself a brand new top of the line set of HP laptop and desktop computers. The new designs on these PCs are pretty impressive. My HP touchsmart even looks like a MAC. It feels nice too because it has a touch screen. My laptop is twice as fast as my old desktop computer. It’s amazing how they are able to make faster and better computers at a cheaper price. I bought both my computers for a little over 2 thousand dollars. I consider it money well spent because i spend a lot of time on my computer.

I love playing with computers, and it pleases me to open up the box. The only problem is that i hate uninstalling the preinstalled programs. I hate spending hours cleaning up my machine. Why do they insist on preinstalling useless programs. I hate it. I read about how Dell is shipping computers without most of the preinstalled garbage. It’s a great idea and maybe next time i buy a computer, i’ll buy a Dell.

Internet Art

August 21st, 2008 by wozog

There are a lot of website that cater to artist. I think that the term Art can be used for a variety of things. The internet is filled with Art. There are numerous websites dedicated to classic forms of art. Websites for museums and art galaries are all over the net. Small time artists have a porfolio page on the web to showcase their work.

The internet has created a new genre of art. Art can now be in the form and shape of a website. Nice computer graphics can be considered art. Photoshop effects can be bought and sold just like art. These forms are a more practical version of art, but it’s still art nonetheless. If you are interested in becoming an internet artist, set up a website of you own. Who know, you might even be able to make some money online with your art.

Matt Harding

August 21st, 2008 by wozog

Matt Harding is the internet celebrity that has a funny dance. I first found out about Matt Harding and his adventures via youtube. I was delighted when i learned of how his video started. I was inspired. I mean, who doesn’t want to travel the world and get paid for it.

His videos are really well made. The editing and music are both wonderful. I give it up for Matt Harding for becoming a stride gum celebrity. I wish more of the net was filled with content like this. The internet and the world would be a better place.

I think the whole point of life is to do things that make you happy. Most people struggle to even get by. We don’t have time to do things that are inspiring. We are too tired after a long days work. We can’t live this way. We need to live life to the fullest with no regrets.

Internet Service providers

August 19th, 2008 by wozog

The internet is a great place. It’s a virtual world where we can find entertainment, news, and other general information. It seems free, but it is not because we have to pay for our internet connection. Remember when TV was free. Before cable TV got it’s hands on TV, and before the digital revolution, anyone with a tv and antennae could get free TV. Now, TV has to be paid for. You need to hook up cable or dish network to even get the basic channels. What is going on with the world today? Even a slow internet connection requires monthly fees. If you want high speed internet, you have to fork over 40 dollars or more for it per month.

We are taking this robbery silently. Why should we get charged these ridiculous fees? We are we not complaining about such nonesense? The internet should be free for everyone. Internet service providers should be competing for our business. Instead, we are forced to take whatever cable company is available to use in our area. I really wish there was a more democratic way to go about getting the internet. Am i the only one that thinks about this?

friends with money

August 19th, 2008 by wozog

Friendships are born and developed differently. Most of the time, your friends are people who live close to you. People change, and relationships can change too. Someone who was really close to you can become a distance stranger. This happens mostly in romantic relationships. But it’s not limited to that. I had a few close high school friends who i thought were going to be life long mates. I rarely talk to them now, and when i do, it’s usually short and very uncomfortable. Another issue with friends deals with money. If you have friends who have more money then you, the relationship can become incompatible. Same thing with friends who are poorer then you.

When you want to go out to a nice restaurant, certain friends can’t come. It seems superficial to talk about friends and money in the same sentence, but that’s just how our social system is set up. Because we live in a consumer based society, money becomes an important issue. Think about the friends you and have think about the money issues.

computer problems

August 19th, 2008 by wozog

You can find a cheap computer online or in retail outlets. The price of computers have dropped a lot in the last few years. Even laptop computers can be found for less then 7 hundred dollars. I remember when i bought my first laptop computer for close to 15 hundred dollars. It wasn’t a very good system, but i paid a lot for it because that was the going rate for laptops back in the day. Now, the issues isn’t about price. It’s about style and personality. Mac computers are becoming more and more popular. I own a mac and i can honestly say that i use my pc more often. I guess it’s because i’m used to the functions of windows. I take my mac with me when i go to the trendy coffee shop or the local book store.

I recently got a new hp laptop and it just crashed on me. I had to spend 4 hours of my precious time with the tech team over at hp. Needless to say that i wasn’t satisfied and my computer still does not work. I purchased the system over at bestbuy, and will be returning the computer tomorrow. I wish i was a computer geek. I wish i knew how these things worked. I just want a hassle free computer to not crash on me.
