I got a lot of email questions about Cat Idol. I will try to answer as much as I can.
When will Cat Idol start?
Cat Idol will start tomorrow March 1rst.
Is it too late to join?
No but today will be the last day to send in a picture of your cat (with your thumb showing).
How much will the winner get?
32 bucks. Also will be on the Wozog hall of fame with Parker.
How many cats will be in cat idol?
Around 25.
How does Cat Idol work?
There will be lets say 24 cat pictures up. But you can only vote for one. After 24 hours the cat with the least amount of fan votes will be eliminated. So then there will be 23 cats. The voting starts ALL over again. Previous votes do no go over to the next round. As long as your cat does not get the least amount of votes, he or she is safe. This will go on until only one cat is left standing.
Can I enter more than one cat?
Yes, however unlike the head to head contest, if you have multiple cats and you have only one vote, who will you choose? More cats in this situation does not mean you have a better chance to win.
Why can’t Parker be in Cat Idol?
Parker already won the head to head tournament. She is retired. This will allow other cats to shine.

Here is an exclusive interview with the winner of the head to head tournament. Parker has taken some time out of her busy day of…..eating and sleeping to answer a few questions =).
Wozog: Hi, Parker got some email from cat fans wanting to know what is your favorite drink? Besides water of course.
Parker: Hi! I’d have to say my favorite drink is tuna juice!
Wozog: …..thats gross….I will try some later.
Wozog: How is your love life? Dating any cat special?
Parker: I am involved with a very interesting and psychotic tabby by the name of
Tripper - http://tabbytrip.blogspot.com/ he’s very handsome, but quite
disturbed! I like my mancats on the dangerous side!
Wozog: Besides runner up Daisy did you meet any new friends at Wozog?
Parker: I did not meet Feildsie, but his story really was something. I admire
him.
Wozog: What will you do with the 32 dollar prize money? Month supply of tuna juice?
Parker: I would like my prize money donated to Churchill the Cat who had to have

Parker (left) will be taking on Daisy (right) in the FINAL round. The match up is HUGE! I have no idea who is going to win. Two great cats who have so many fans. However only one can win. By the way good job to Rexie and Orlando, they both got very far and I think they made themselves known in the cat blogging community. So who will win? Daisy? Parker? I have an idea. The owners should get together and have them mate! Then they will give birth to super kittens much like Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf…Everyone vote! I think this will come down to the wire! Voting will end Feb. 29th!

Orlando and Rexie were no match for powerhouses Parker and Daisy. This sets up the match of the century! Parker vs Daisy!! Who will win??? Winner get 32 dollars and more importantly gets put up on the wozog hall of fame. The loser will most likely be the front runner for cat idol. Here were the final results. Round 2 comes to an end. So sad to see Samantha, Tigger, Simba, and Moses go down, but look on the bright side. There always is Cat Idol!! Here are the results of round 2! Remember to join Cat Idol which will start after the completion of this head to head tournament. Winner gets 32 dollars. However the winner of the head to head will retired from wozog and put on the wozog hall of fame….or cat of fame.

Join CAT IDOL!!! The next contest will not be head to head but a elimination style contest. Think of it like American Idol but with cats. Everyday a cat WILL get eliminated based on the fans votes. Since it is American Idol season I say we try it. Since with the new style it will not matter the number of cat pictures I will need. So feel free to join! Just remember to take a picture of your cat with your thumb showing in the picture (this is done to prove that it is really your cat). Send the picture to admin@wozog.com. The winner of the head to head tournament will not be able to join (gotta share the wealth =) ). But the winner still gets 32 bucks, but most importantly will go on the WOZOG hall of fame with their picture! Those that lose the head to head matches, don’t worry you will all be automatically entered into the CAT IDOL. I have gotten many pictures after this tournament started so there will be more competition. But it will be FUN!!! Also Please vote for the cats that made it to round 2!
